A few of you have expressed interest in doing the San Juan Hut to Hut ride sometime this summer.  I wanted to give one last chance for you to indicate interest in this trip.

  I’m almost certainly going to do this ride this coming summer.  I’m looking for up to seven additional people to join in the fun.  If you looked at the website there are two routes, Durango to Moab and Telluride to Moab.  The Durango route is the harder of the two.  I’d prefer to take this route.  However, if a majority of riders would rather do the easier, that’s cool and I’m flexible.  Additionally, I’d like to do this over the Fourth of July.  My reasoning is it’s one less vacation day needed from work.  Again, I’m flexible with timing as well.
   
  This email is serving for last call for you to show INTEREST.  If you indicate you’re interested then the short list of interested people will discuss which route and when.  Shortly after that I’ll start to collect deposit money to send in to reserve our time slot.

  If you’ve already expressed interest by emailing me, no need for action.  If you think this looks like fun and want to be kept in the email loop for now, email me now.  If you’re not interested at all, do nothing – I won’t contact you again regarding this.  Showing interest is not making a commitment.  Commitment time comes when I need to start collecting some cabbage.  I’m trying to plan this early so you’ll have time to save up for this and so you can mark it on your calendar to plan other things around.
   
  I’m sending out another email to those who’ve expressed interest the Monday after Thanksgiving.  You should contact me before then.  That’s all I got.  No it’s not.  Please pass this along to anyone you think might be interested and give them my email address.  I’m sending this to the usual suspects but don’t won’t to exclude anyone.
